GAMO AIR RIFLE SWARM FOX 4.5MM W/4X32 SCOPE
This is a BEHEMOTH of a youth rifle! a Nice low profile rifle w/ an outdoor-proof stock made from automotive grade glass-filled nylon. We like the low profile stock w/ the aggressively cantilevered handle, which, in conjunction w/ the integrated bird cage on the muzzle end, allows for good control over the shooting.
The 10X (10 round magazine) slots easily in/out of its designated spot on the receiver, whether the rifle is cocked or not, so long as the barrel is in its reset position, which most PCP rifles don't even sport. The magazine loads up w/ no wind-up needed and you can shoot as much as you load in - no need to fully load up the magazine each time. The barrel breaks without any stiff felt 'locked' position that needs to be overcome and the fluted polymer shroud on the barrel, is a useful cocking assistant - adds grip to the barrel.
This is a rugged outdoor rifle, like most all GAMO rifles, designed to be shot in any position, which makes it very youth-friendly in our opinion.
Comes supplied w/ a 4x32 rifle scope, calibrated in ¼” MOA. The reticle is a standard 30/30 duplex. Admittably, the scope is plastic, the reticle lacks MIL-DOTS, no fast-focus eyebell, not nitrogen filled) and the mount rings only feature a single lock ring each. We do recommend upgrading to something proper rather, that is a one piece metal assembly and does check all the above mentioned boxes;
