Kuzey Blank Guns and PCP Air Rifles in South Africa

Kuzey is Turkish and offers the widest spread of blank gun patterns and finishes in this catalogue, which is the main reason to look here rather than at a single-model brand. The range also extends into PCP air rifles, which is unusual for a blank gun maker. NeonSales carries 24 Kuzey products, from R475 for a spare magazine up to R7,665 for a TX-1 PCP rifle.

Choosing a pattern

Pattern Based on Notes
911 / 911-T / 911SX 1911 profile The widest finish choice in the range, including walnut grip options
GN19 Glock 19 profile Compact polymer-style pattern, spare magazines stocked
F92 Beretta 92 profile Full-size and familiar, offered as a combo with blanks
S900 / P122 / A100 Other service patterns Alternatives if you want something less common

Finish is the main decision

Mechanically these are similar pistols, so the choice comes down to appearance and price. Black is the most discreet and generally the cheapest. Chrome, satin chrome and tri-tone are considerably more visible and cost more. Walnut grips and the flecktarn camo finish sit at the top of the range and are bought for looks rather than function. The pistol underneath does not change.

The PCP rifles are a different product entirely

The TX-1 and TX-2 are pre-charged pneumatic air rifles, not blank guns, and they share nothing with the pistols beyond the brand name. They fire pellets, need a fill source such as a hand pump, dive bottle or compressor, and are used for target shooting and pest control. If you are browsing this collection for a blank gun, these are not it.

Common questions

What ammunition do the blank guns take? 9mm P.A.K. blank rounds, which fire no projectile. The P122 is marked 9x22mm, which is the same cartridge designation. Buy blanks at the same time.

Are spare magazines available for all models? The GN19 magazine is stocked. For other patterns, check the individual listing rather than assuming, since magazines are pattern-specific and not interchangeable.

Combo or pistol alone? The combos include blanks and a holster and usually work out cheaper than buying separately. Sensible for a first purchase.

What are the legal requirements? These vary by product category and by circumstance. Confirm your own position before ordering rather than relying on general guidance.
