ZORAKI MOD 918-TD BLANK GUN + 10 BLANKS + HOLSTER
In this combo you willl receive the following :
1 X Zoraki 918-TD Blank Gun Black
10 X Kaiser Blank Rounds
1 X Ambidextrous IWB Holster
Really, REALLY nifty Beretta 92 FS blank gun, probably THEE best one by all accounts, as it ticks all the tactical checkbboxes;
Key features;
- Polymer frame - will not discolour with time and lightweight
- Slide racks easy and smoothly
- Handle features finger grooves w/ texturing, likewise stippling on the side panels for better handling / grip traction
- Underbarrel Picatinny rail
- SA / DA
- Hammer fired
- Slide mounted ambidextrous safety
- Broad cocking serration grooves
- Rightward cartridge extraction
- No obtrusive barrel blocker
- Field strip is a breeze 👍
- Overall superb handling - All moving parts and controls on this gun toggles pleasantly smooth.
- 18+1 shot magazine capacity, cycles super reliably.
This is an outstanding pistol, operates almost just as smooth as the real deal would, w/out the 'clunkiness' that cheaper blank guns are known for. IT is worth noting that this pistol is fully front venting, due to the lack of an obtrusive barrel blocker, so pepper and other deterrent-inclusive blank cartridges, will discharge said gasses all out the barrel end.
We found the handle does sit snug in the hand and you don't have that unbalanced, bulky weight in your hand like some other BERETTA 92 replicas - it grips firmly in the hand and the frontal finger grooves helps w/ a positive hold - and control - over the weapon. The thumb grooves are ambidextrous, allowing for ergonomy for your index and thumb fingers. The stippled panels, likewise the coarse box texturing down the curve of the handle backstrap, improves handling traction on your hand.
The slide has a really lovely sound to it when racked and when racking the slide via the mostly flat profiled safety levers, your fingers won't experience that annoying nip feeling, typically resultive of a stiff blowback spring. The FIRE and SAFE markings are indicated clearly on the slide, on both sides, neatly etched on.
The hammer is skeletized for aesthetic, likewise to reduce lock time as it were - to reduce the time, after the hammer is released from the sear, it takes for the firing pin to be struck, nipping off tiny fractions of a second between the trigger being pulled and the gun going off. At its ridge, it does feature a strip of fine serrations to toggle the hammer easier. This hammer is so easy, you can toggle it w/ your thumb only, on the hand that is holding the pistol and it wouldn't require muxh effort. The safety levers both toggle positively and crisp w/ minimal effort required. They are stepped, though, traction-assists are not necessary on these pistols, though do make for a nice touch and does add to the user ergonomy.
The base of the handle, behind the magazine floorplate, features a lanyard loophole for affixing a lanyard if so desired.
The magazine body itself is black, not chrome, unlike the KUZEY range of pistols. The magazine follower is polymer, well-rounded off w/ no extraneous injection mould residual.
The sights are lovely and realistic as well, they do line up nicely, though not exactly precise, but nice enough for a blank gun.
Also a nice feature to this pistol, is that you can affix a laser, flashlight or combination of both to the gun / onto the underbarrel Picatinny rail.
..
Overall, our consensus on this pistol is overwhelmingly positive.
