Taiwanese-manufactured GLOCK 17 Gen 3 replica.
Features a metal frame w/ a threaded 9mm muzzle end. The 4.5mm barrel is black, not brass, and sits recessed. There are no official GLOCK licensing marks on this pistol whatsoever. It has realistic looking cocking serration, sights, however, no white sight indications as like on a real GLOCK. The takedown tabs are molded in, as is the slide catch. It features an ambidextrous thumb rest as well as a functioning magazine release button, which allows the all-metal magazine strip to drop free.
There is a weaver rail strip under the barrel w/ a single crossbolt hole for retaining a flashlight or laser through and prevent push-back on the optic. This pistol, however, does not feature a double blade trigger safety like a real GLOCK, but it has an under-barrel toggle safety, which restricts the trigger when put on 'safe' mode.
The handle otherwise has realistic features - The periodical square texturing on the grip panels as well as the finger spacers/dividers w/ their own texturing in-between. The lower backstrap is pronounced, allowing for a more positive grip on the pistol.
CO2 Powerplant:
The grip stocks collectively slide off backwardly and comes off completely. Inside, one will then find the CO2 capsule chamber, the piercing nozzle end above and the vertically threading seater disc. This has a half-circle that hinges left and right 180 for ease of handling and storage. The CO2 capsule is inserted at a 75 angle upward, inserted NOZZLE FIRST, prior to being seated on the dish beneath. Once secured, this is fastened by means of the turn screw ear, allowing for tool-free fastening of the cartridge. Once fully secured, all that remains is to load up the BBs.
Magazine:
The Magazine is spring-loaded w/ a follower tab that can be pushed down all the way, where it will latch onto the bottom side and remain, hands-free, in that position. Thereafter, being a gun chambered in .177 BB, the appropriate shot should be loaded up, to a maximum of 15. Thereafter, carefully release the slide, mindful that uit does not jump up on its own, buit instead, is guided up slowly, to prevent the BBs from being catapulted out.
Once loaded, the magazine can be reinserted into the handle and the gun will be ready to shoot the BBs.
Please note that this pistol will shoot in excess of 380 FPS with its first magazine load and accordingly, produce a racket with each shot discharged. Please treat this gun as you would a real one.
