Small and cheap little air rifle, certainly rated for youths, however, due to the low cost of the manufacturing materials, these rifles unfortunately, won't survive much in the way of battering / inappropriate usage, so please do take the necessary precautions and handle these rifles with care.

Otherwise, the barrel breaks / hinges open w/ minimal force and the sights are fibre optic inserts. The front sight is shielded against impact w/ a polymer cage. Despite the appearance of the plastic shroud over the muzzle end, there is no muffling / sound dampening effected by it, though rather just serves as the mounting bracket for the front sight. You'll find that the barrel has a bit of play on it when hinged out, though when engaged, the play is minimal. The rear sight is mounted on the hinge of the barrel, so both sights are mounted on the same platform, which means that they should retain their consistency and hold zero. The dovetail milled out of the rifle action, is sitting on a section disssimilar to the barrel and depending on where more play might accrue on the barrel and its hinge over time, a telescope might not hold zero as effectively.

Bear in mind that the rifle has no feature safety whatsoever and likewise, do not pull the trigger with the barrel in hinged position or otherwise not in a completely stowed position, as this can likely hurt the rifle.

The rifle does feature horizontal serrating for the buttpad, which is also curved, btw, and does add handling ergonomy and traction to the shoulder.

The stock has a clear, but tacky polyurethane coating over the wood. The grainline for the most part is also stained out, giving the stock this overall amber hue.

All the black parts you see is steel / ferrous metal and likewise, susceptable to corrosion. Likewise, please make sure to keep the rifle as rust-free as possible to ensure better performance and longevity of the rifle. Corrosion, without saying, is not covered by any warranty.

Otherwise, the trigger is not particularly remarkable, akin to those on more vintage rifles, which this rifle in its entirety tends to hearken towards. Those who've had rifles like these during their youth 20 years odd ago, might undoubtedly want to purchase one of these for one of their own youths.
