This is the PT26, the fully-automatic firing blank gun variant of the PT24, which in turn, is a replica of the TAURUS 24/7 pistol. This is moreover the only fully-automatic striker-fired blank gun that we're aware of.

Out of its pistol case, it has a real flyweight to it w/ a very inviting pistol grip, featuring steps for the finger slots, instead of the usual scallops or grooves. The traction medium on these different levels are stacked disk lips spaced thinly apart, and at varying lengths of protrusion, to create an ergonomical silhouette. That, coupled w/ the dense stippled panel down the backstrap and the vector shaped stippling panels down the sides of the handle, overall, makes this gun sit -and hold- comfortably in the user's hand. As an added bonus, we have an ambidextrous finger rest.

The trigger is a bit of an oddity - manufactured from polymer, having a long "christmas cane" or "long J" shape. The crook at the base of the trigger, swirls around your finger as you put your index upon it and does feel comfortable to toggle - the takeup is little and you'll feel a clearly defined wall of tension that demands a little stiff pull, before gradually giving in, then breaking all of a sudden. This can be a little unpredictable for alot of users, as you normally expect the sear to yield clean once the trigger tension is overcome.

The magazine release otherwise is a tilted square w/ a flat serrated face that does not follow the contour of the handle. This helps it feel more 'noticeable' to the touch, while the vertical serrating, prevents the thumb's forwardly tendency as you depress the button.

The slide catch release is 15mm in length, featuring a double step of horizontal serrating, which shares some likeness to that found on the RETAY XPRO.. However, under this tab, there is a deboss / wall, counteracting accidental actuation of the slide catch.

This pistol does feature a full-spec looking Picatinny railing for mounting a flashlight and/or laser if so inclined.

The ejection port is completely open-top, w/ a closed slide as well. The cocking serrations here are generous, limited to the back only, w/ plenty of bite for the fingers as the slide is racked, to minimizing slippage.

Field stripping of this gun can occur reasonably easy as well - the lever for this sits on the left face of the gun, resting in default position pointed towards the 2 'o clock position. By rotating this either-or way to the 6 'o clock position, the lever will peer out beyond the frame, whereafter it can by drawn out completely. From there, the slide can be hitched off at the back of the frame, off the slide rails and taken afore, whereafter the blowback assembly will come off as well. Please note that the blowback rod indexer cannot be removed w/ out some trouble, though we recommend not removing it from the frame unless really necessary.

Otherwise, we're really impressed w/ the lightweight of this little gun, its 14+1 shot magazine capacity and its fire selector. Really nice, plus the replica features certainly are a bonus.
