Pre-Charged Pneumatic (PCP) side-lever action,10 shot rifle w/ synthetic stock.

The AT44-10 most of us all know and love, now in the TACT iteration, featuring a slew of premium features aimed at those who want the PCP sidelever experience, but want alot more / serious power, that what a paintball gun AR-15 type replica has to offer, but without needing to sacrifice the collapsible stock, picatinny shroud, pistol grip and nifty back-up open sights.

Featuring a removable air reservoir, our tactical operators can take this rifle into the field w/ additional air reservoirs instead of needing to backpack a 2.5l PCP tank to top-up the rifle. Furthermore, the integrated double magazine holder that stores two spare magazines flush w/ the belly of the stock is certainly worth noting, as is the all-iron design of these magazines, which, if lost, can readily be replaced w/ 3d printed ones for cheap.

The rifle is not regulated and as such, will result in a gradual muzzle velocity curve over a full string of maximum shots that the rifle is capable of. For shooting groups, this can be a problem, but for hunting and tactical purposes up to 30 meters, this will not be as great a problem,

Tactical 6-point collapsible stock, downwardly angled like a skeletized monte-carlo stock,whereupon the cheek piece glides. Straight, ovalical rubber buttplate, faintly textured. The rear sling swivel is attached to this moveable piece.

Handling: Pistol grip / AR-15 style. Rubberized grip panels, isometrically checkered, featuring an ambidextrous index and thumb rest. The fore end of the stock features similar grip panels, but horizontally w/ pronounced checkering.

Railing: The foremost end of the stock has a triple picatinny shroud w/ the sling swivel integrated to the rear of the bottom picatinny rail. The top railing is a weaver / dovetail combination, allowing you to use either/or scope mount rings. Behind the breech, there is 125mm of space, where one could possibly fit one's scope mount rings onto, though, for a tactical setup, you can mount a cantilevered mount, allowing sufficient room to fit your scope onto. If you plan it carefully and use peephole mount rings, you should have your scope plus your fibre optic open sights at your disposal, which is advised.

Sights: Genuine TRU-GLO fibre optic sights; notch in green and the frontal blade in red. The rear sight is adjustable for both windage and elevation, whereas the front sight is adjustable, via a horizontal dial, for elevation. These adjustment screws, when dialed, positively clicks at each increment. The fact that the frontal sight is adjustable, means that your window of elevation adjustability is broadened, allowing for longer distance holdover clicks.

Safety: HATSAN proprietary auto-engaging safety. This safety is at the rearmost of the riflle action and pops out whenever the sidelever engages the sear. The nice feature to this safety is that, whilst your trigger hand is fully in position around the pistol grip, your thumb can push the safety in intuitively once you get used to it, negating the need for you to lose your sight picture in order to try and find a fidgety cross-bolt safety, etc.

Action: Side lever, two stage horizontal cocking. By hinging the lever out backwards, you can cock the rifle. As the rifle cocks, your auto safety engages and the indexer nudges the ratcheting outer circumference of the magazine, positioning your next pellet so that, as you bring the lever back forward and in rested position, the pellet probe will chamber your next pellet, etc, until your magazine has been depleted.

Precision rifled choked barrel for accuracy, threaded for ½" UNF air rifle silencer & fitted out of the box w/ a muzzle cap / thread protector. Has an integrated barrel band to counteract barrel jerking.

Regulated: No, however, an aftermarket solution from HUMA AIR is possible and could set you back by about R1600 - R2200
