AJAX MANUAL CALL POINT - BLUE
AJAX MANUAL CALL POINT - BLUE
Lightning-fast commands at critical moments
In a life-endangering situation, pressing Manual Call Point triggers automation scenarios. Ajax's innovative features follow the command in a second: scenarios de-energize the facility, unlock the exits, or turn on the ventilation or emergency lights. The button can also activate the intrusion sirens and buzzers of all fire detectors in the system to inform users about evacuation. All the data is instantly available in Ajax apps and CMS: which button was pressed, when, and where. Once the danger has passed, Manual Call Point must be reset by a key (included in the complete set).
Automate every safety measure
In Scenario Trigger mode, Manual Call Point performs simple tasks like opening an electric lock or powering off an appliance, as well as orchestrating a complex chain of actions involving dozens of relays, smart sockets, and switches. The configuration of automation scenarios is managed in Ajax apps, all plain and intuitive.
- Performs any programmable action regardless of enclosure color
- Automation scenarios configuration in Ajax apps
- Activation of one or many actions at once with one press
A part of an advanced fire alarm system
In Fire Alarm mode, pressing Manual Call Point activates the built-in sirens of all fire detectors in the system. Additionally, the button can also activate intrusion sirens. An alarm is instantly sent to users and the central monitoring station (CMS).
As part of the Ajax ecosystem, Manual Call Point interacts with automation devices, cameras, and MotionCam (PhOD) detectors to speed up evacuation and ease firefighters' access to the building. In case of a fire alarm, Wall Switch Jeweller de-energizes the facility, and Relay Jeweller activates emergency lights and exits. In a matter of seconds, Ajax apps receive visual verification to identify the cause of the fire.

Simplified yet flawless hardware
ManualCallPoint has a thoughtful and reliable button-press mechanism. A minor failure can be crucial in a critical situation, so the mechanism is simplified to several solid parts. Thus, the button cannot get stuck or fail to activate physically, and the possibility of failure in moments of emergency is reduced.
The button is designed for more than 500 presses throughout its lifecycle. If the button has triggered once, it will reliably continue to do so. Ajax rigorously tests 100% of the production during manufacturing. If the button passes testing upon installation, it will definitely raise an alarm when needed.
- Mechanism with reduced failure risk
- Designed for 500+ presses
- Automatic self-diagnosis of each device
Advanced system supervision
ManualCallPoint is a part of the Ajax ecosystem, transforming the button into a genuine IoT device. Each element of the ecosystem is constantly supervised. The button exchanges data with a hub via Jeweller radio protocol. The hub has two-way communication with Ajax Cloud which provides real-time information to Ajax apps.
The device does not require periodic testing by triggering to ensure it operates properly — the Ajax system supervises its state every minute. The enclosure has a tamper to notify the security company and users if someone tries to dismantle ManualCallPoint from the mounting panel. And if a button has a malfunction, you will receive a notification specifying the problematic device on the premises.
IoT device
12 s of a minimum polling interval
Instant maintenance notifications
Tamper alarm
Stable performance for years
The button combines seamless wireless connectivity, data-rich notifications, and supervision capabilities with outstanding longevity. The device operates for up to 7 years on the included batteries. When the time comes, the Ajax system will notify you in advance about the need for battery replacement.
Up to 7 years of battery life
Low battery warning
Precise facility observation
Ajax apps instantly notify about any event in the system and support critical alerts. Security companies and users know exactly which device triggered, when and where it happened. The system controls each device state and reports if there is a malfunction or if it's time to replace the batteries.
The event log records 500 recent events within the system. The data is explicit with the device, time, and event description. It helps reconstruct the actual event and find the causes to obtain comprehensive information for firefighters or an insurance company.
Monitoring with PRO Desktop
A building administrator can monitor not only security but also buttons and automation devices. The status, event log, and battery data — a CMS operator gets the whole picture in one intuitive interface, all informative and centralized. An installer can remotely change the settings and provide services in time.
Unique wireless technologies
The Ajax system uses two-way secure radio communication based on the Jeweller proprietary protocol. It supports block cipher encryption and device authentication on every session with the hub to prevent sabotage, spoofing, or data theft.
Up to 1,700 m of radio communication with a hub
Encrypted two-way radio communication
Notifications about jamming and connection loss
Scaled and comprehensive
For complex radio signal conditions, the ReX Jeweller range extender boosts the range of all Ajax devices and manages their communication with the hub via Jeweller. And ReX 2 Jeweller assures stable communication even through steel and concrete via Ethernet using the wire as the additional communication channel. Up to 5 range extenders can operate within one Ajax system to expand the network twice as big, covering multistorey buildings with underground parking and basements.
Up to 5 range extenders within one system
Ethernet as an alternative communication channel
Effortless installation and maintenance
ManualCallPoint is ready to go straight out of the box. There is no need to disassemble the button during installation. The Ajax apps are designed to include the device in a system in a few clicks. Later, an installer can change the settings remotely — no need to make unnecessary trips. The button does not require regular manual testing: a self-test system automatically reports the device state to the hub. After activation, the button must be manually released using the key (included in the complete set).
