This is a really handy fixture to have to otherwise affix a Picatinny-mounted accessory to a rifle that are devoid of these. Perfect for shotgun magazine tubes as well, to fit a flashlight or even a swiveling / rotating sling loop. For this accessory, please see;

It also works in tandem with a typical Kalashnikov as illustrated, allowing you to chuck a flashlight on to the left or right of the barrel. Please excuse the poor image quality.

Be sure to wrap something like insulation tape or duct-tape around the barrel / tube / cylindrical form before mounting this clamp on, to prevent movement / rotation of this. Please don't compensate by overtightening!
