The CO2 valve, known also as a CO2 regulator, is a crucial component for controlling the flow of carbon dioxide gas from a cylinder. Made of either brass or stainless steel, it contains several parts: Inlet - the connection point for the cylinder, may feature a CGA fitting for compatibility with various CO2 cylinders; Outlet - where the CO2 gas is released, can have a hose barb fitting for a hose or threaded fitting for a regulator; Pressure gauge - measures the CO2 pressure in the cylinder; Shutoff valve - controls the flow of CO2 gas; Pin valve - a small, precise valve for adjusting the CO2 flow.
