SNOWPEAK GR1000X .22 CAL MULTISHOT AIR RIFLE

This is a really lovely 700 FPS pushing multishot rifle w/ 16.8gr pellets. The rifle settles in after about 100 pellets fired, in terms of shooting consistency.

For those wondering, the GAMO SWARM .22 cal packs about 650 FPS using 15.42gr GAMO MAGNUM pellets, although, the build quality of that rifle is significantly higher. The overall quality and feel of the GAMO multishot break barrel rifles certainly is there.

However, if rugged and weighty suits you (weight does mitigate recoil), then do consider this rifle - the magazine on this rifle is SOLID STEEL!, but consequently, weighs in a bit. However, we've need seen an air rifle multishot magazine built this tough ever before. It loads up straighforward - no goofy winding up, indexing - it is a rotary magazine w/ removable cover plate.

The Fibre Optic inset iron sights are a bonus, as you don't necessarily need a scope to shoot this rifle. That and they act as backup sights. You of course, can mount a scope onto this rifle, using a set of DOVETAIL mount rings. We recommend either the NIKKO STERLING range, the AGS 3-9x40 or a GAMO scope, as these are suited for recoiling break barrel use.

Other than that, for this price, we really have little to complain about.
