This is a really lovely CO2 pistol - the design pattern from EKOL's history of manufacturing blank guns, is clearly evident here;

The pistol frame is polymer, whilst the slide is metal. Interestingly enough, the slide itself is a separate component to the frame, almost as though it could be slid off under a certain condition - if you look closely at the rear shot of the pistol, you'll see that the slide is riding on slide rails that appear fixed to the pistol frame. Very interesting, although out of the box like this, the slide is completely stationary.

The slide features your typical BERETTA 92 cut-out slide w/ the typical, upright and broad groove cocking serrations found on the firearm counterpart. The sights are interesting, featuring a set of white dots on the rear sight notch and a red dot on the frontal sight blade. Lining these up horizontally, would give you your sight picture. Of note - The rear sight does seem removable and could be shimmied out w/ a hammer and punch, after removing what looks to be like a retaining grub screw.

The extractor is moulded into the slide, even the field strip lever on the right hand face of the frame appears quite realistic - Most unaware people, after seeing this, would undoubtedly try over and over again to rack the slide and then try to ascertain thereafter, what is preventing it from doing so.

 The ergonomy on the handle is lovely - a set of angled, periodical checker boxes that correspond to the finger slots on the fore of the handle, following the same pattern right around for a more confident purchase on the pistol.
The magazine release button is serrated at a slight angle, which in a way, would interlace w/ the print on one's thumb for a cleaner, but sturdy feel. The button heree is manufactured from aluminium alloy / has a metallic feel but non-magnetic. The slide catch looks very realistic, horizontally serrated too, but there is no slide catch notch on the slide itself, which could be telling..

The hammer, also as per illustration - can manually be cocked, to discharge this pistol in single action if one so chooses. Otherwise, non-blowback double action is the default firing mode. The hammer interestingly too, has a half-cock position.

Unlike other NBB pistols in this price range, this pistol is not a two-piece assembly - the entirety of the frame is a single piece, retaining all the internal components in place w/ knurled roller pins, not too unlike a blank gun.

The magazine likewise, is a piece of innovation we haven't laid eyes on before - featuring an all-metal body, reminescent of UMAREX and ASG full size magazines, w/ a galvinized top.
The magazine follower is completely metal and features a double set of notches to catch said follower, more securely, w/ its cup-shaped top in under the BB funnel hole - no annoying business of needing to chuck your BBs one at a time in through the top - You can now just tip the funnel end of your 4.5mm BB bottle, w/ the screw cap off, onto the funnel hole and feed your BBs directly w/out needing to touch any of them - this might take a while to get right, but w/ a little practice, you should be able to accomplish it readily.
The top of the magazine's feeder has a cupped, spring-loader BB retainer, which holds your indexed BB in place until ready to shoot. It really is an extra bit of innovation from EKOL, which is duly noted - CO2 pistol for about three times this price, come w/ these extra slew of features to ensure feeding reliability.

Just mind at the base of the magazine / under the floorplate - the drive is pentagonal, not hexagonal, so you'll be relying on the included capsule-tightening key quite a bit - be sure not to loose it - this little tool could well be proprietary. The good news however is that, if this grub screw gets buggered, you could always source one from your local NUT & BOLT shop, as this screw is metric coarse threaded (M10), although we haven't physically tested this ourselves yet.

Otherwise, the valve assembly can be accessed by means of the brass circle face on the rear of the magazine - no goofy tools needed, just a good set of circlip pliers.

 The magazine otherwise, does not drop freely out from the magazine well and instead, has to be pulled out whilst holding the magazine release button in - this will help you prevent accidentally dropping, and damaging, your magazine on the floor. We really appreciate this nice little feature. EKOL really seems to enjoy spoiling the end user w/ all kinds of hidden extra features that makes your experience all the better and happier!

PS - You can tighten down the CO2 capsule and pierce it whilst the magazine is on the magwell w/ the included tool; it makes this pistol more useful as a stand-by self defence utility - certainly not as fast as a T4E pistol, but faster than most other CO2 pistols on the market. 😉

IF all of that wasn't enough to impress you, then consider that with this product, you'll receive a quality branded hardshell carry case with, which has sliding clips to lock the case. On these sliders, there are also clear LOCK and UNLOCK indicators. The interior of course, is bedded w/ medium density foam insets on either side.
