Bullets not included - just as illustration to show what cartridge these are rated to stop, presumably only one or two at a distance. Assume these plates otherwise will mostly be able to prevent most civilian handgun cartridges from penetrating, up to .44 FMJ (Level IIIa).

Decent bulletproof vest combo, supplied w/ matching MODEL 400B rear and front plates. These are painted blue and feature encapsulation at the side that faces the body. These are curved to slighly conform to the human torso's cylindrical shape and are chamfered 45° at the corners to allow freer movement of the arms in a forwardly-rearwardly motion. The blue colouration is to indicate that this is intended for male use. The female ones are typically painted pink and have a different shape.

The interior side has the DOM as well as serial thereupon, also indicating what calibre it is manufactured to prevent from penetrating. Nice enough for the price and it does feature some ergonomy. For the price, we cannot find anything disagreeable.

As for the vest - the specifications for it from the manufacturer is as follow;

The vest itself is black and has a dense padded feel to it. It will accomodate for a front plate, rear plate and side plates. The front and rear interior of the vest is mesh lined to create a layer of breathability. The front and rear panels have four MOLLE strips, w/ 7 colomns for adding, say, your AR15 / AK47 magazine pouches, pistol magazine pouches, etc.

At the topmost of the chest, there are unspaced MOLLE rows, three specifically w/ 3 colomns in series. The bottom has a MOLLE section on the flank each and all of this MOLLE has female velcro, which corresponds w/ the male velcro typically found on the reverse of patches. 

On the rear of the vest, we have four spaced rows of MOLLE w/ 7 colomns. Hereupon you can affix MOLLE pouches, carry bags etc.

The top has 7 unspaced colomns of MOLLE w/ 3 rows, also w/ female velcro for affixing patches etc. On top of this, we have the drag handle - if you, for example, go down in the field, then a buddy can use it to drag you out of harm's way. It is triangularly stitiched and should last a while before tearing loose. Presumably the original owner won't last beyond the third or fourth time that the handle needs to be used, possibly explaining the lack of reinforcing on the handle ends / contact w/ the vest.

The shoulder straps have cross-box stitching at the front, where they meet with the vest. To the rear panel, they just have a double row of reinforced stitching. This should be ample to comfortably bear the load of the supplied plates for years to come.

The envelope flaps to would retain the plates, fold inward to the body and are thoroughly velcro-retained. The interior has a broad female mating strip on each side, to compensate for your standard 30x25 cm plates as well as your higher 32x25cm plates.

Nice thing about this plate carrier, is that you can adjust for girth, as illustrated, via the male/female velcro interaction under the MOLLE panel on the chest side of the plate carrier, by lifting aforementioned panel up. This is accomplished by tearing the velcro apart, which of course, is accomplished with some effort and does not readily separate. There is of course, a durable webbing tongue at the bottom that can be utilized for this purpose.

The shoulder straps of course, can also be adjusted for length as illustrated, by separating the wraps, then shortening or lengthening the two ends (attached to respective front/rear panel) that attaches to the sleeve tube that binds it altogether w/ velcro. Think of it as two joined wire terminals inside of a wire-to-wire joining crimp, except that the crimp can be loosened and reused at will.

Overall we think this vest is simple and straightforward to use. No Chinese gimmicks / eye candy on the vest - just a straight-to-the-point carrier option, that comes supplied w/ the two plates, that should fit most male torsos. The adjustability is there, all of it being velcro reliant for precise adjustability to best fit - and protect - the wearer. Per user, the adjustment should typically only be performed once, at the onset of procurement or at the earliest convenience otherwise, and never thereafter, to prevent needless wear on the velcro, that can affect the adhesion strength thereof.
