H&N SLUG HP II (25 GR) .218 - 200's

For serious impact, grab the H&N Slug HP II.217 30gr 200PCS. These new HP II slugs differ from the originals, because they feature a new, improved hollow point. Also called a T-Slot, which ensures better energy transfer into the target. Meant for use in powerful PCP air rifles where they'll have the advantage of better accuracy and bigger impact at large distances.
These slugs' design is based on H&N's own hollow point bullets. Suitable for hunting and pesting where allowed, as well as long range target shooting. This is because slugs provide better accuracy and bigger impact at long distance. Naturally, they have a higher ballistic coefficient and more weight than a conventional diabolo pellet.
Air rifle slugs differ significantly from the usual airgun pellets due to their solid bullet shape. Designed for powerful rifles which can shoot such projectiles precisely at targets at 50, 100 or even 200 meters distance. An extremely favorable ballistic coefficient (BC) ensures a flat trajectory, as well as excellent energy retention. To accommodate different barrel profiles and power levels, they offer options in both .217 and .218, as well as weight. The muzzle energy of the rifle should be at least 18,5 ft.lbs. or 25 joules. For best results H&N recommends 40 to 60 joules, and they'll also perform best in slug barrels. All slugs get visually inspected, hand packed and secured for transport with foam pads, according to their protocol.
