Really lovely blank shotgun, featuring your typical monte-carlo stock. This pump action boetie is a nip short of / underbored for 12 GA / 0.729”, so it cannot chamber those. Instead, this shotgun utilizes aluminium 9x22mm adapters and comes w/ the jig, to fit those cartridges into the adapters - they are a bit of a tight fit. The adapters have a dummy shotshell appearance, likewise loads up (from under, via the magazine load port) w/ 5+1. You'd pump the shotgun, fire your round, whereafter pulling the pump action back, would extract the shotshell adapter out w/ the embedded blank cartridge out through the ejector port, off to your right.
The pump action operates, feels and sounds super-realistic, moreso than the UMAREX HDX. The sound produced alone, would be sufficient to scare off most problematic characters.
The top of the receiver sports a milled-out 9-11mm dovetail rail for mounting an optic, should that be desired, whilst the muzzle end of the barrel, has a sight notch on top, although, normally when pushing off buckshot, one directs the shotgun, instead of aiming it, though the sight blade is there for realism nonetheless.
By the trigger guard, you'll find a pedal mechanism which is your action release control, allowing you to clear the chamber w/out needing to fire the gun, or attempt to re-extract a shell, if at first it did not extract.
The safety is a push-through button situated on a rear end of the trigger guard - pushed through to the left face of the gun, is fire. The nub will have a RED RING about its circumference, to indicate that the trigger is hot. Pushed through to the right face of the gun, this gun would then be on SAFE and the trigger rendered immobile.
Also nice, is that the pump lever is supersized for easy toggling w/ ample sloping deep grooves moulded in. That, and the Picatinny rail strip on the front side of the sliding fore-end allows you to mount a flashlight, w/ no special mounting bracket required. If that wasn't enough - there is a fully sling swivel compliment factory-installed on the gun, allowing you to loop a sling through. The rear swivel is fixed in position, whereas the front one does rotate freely.
The buttpad is rubberized, w/ downward chevron grooves moulded into it, that tacts to your shoulder. This pad likewise, is thoroughly vented, to allow for maximum squish against your shoulder, that'd normally assist in recoil absorption ergonomy.
Otherwise, this shotgun disassembles pretty standard, not too different from a MOSSBERG 500.
