Nice little underbarrel combination, w/out adding too much droop-effect and might weigh the frontal end of the pistol / revolver down.

Offers nice versatility in that, you have a 300 LM LED flashlight w/ 18mm bezel which for indoor use, is quite bright and does illuminate quite a ways, in terms of distance (useful up to 15 meters, yet also creates a wide angle of illumination). This flashlight as shown, activates simply by pushing the aluminium tab through from left to right. It is serrated btw, for added traction. Pushing that same tab through from the otherside, of course, deactivates the flashlight. Switching the lamp on again, will activate the strobelight, which generates a disorientating effect on whose eyes / sight that flickering light falls onto.

The laser dot integrated onto the flashlight's belly is preloaded w/ a series of 3x button cells which are sealed, preventing their contact with the terminals.

The flashlight head threads out, where the supplied CR123 battery can be found. The nice feature to having a removable battery like this, is that the battery can be swopped out with a different one, once this one has expired / as a spare / or just for longer life on the flashlight. The flashlight head itself has perpendicular grooves for better grip around the module. You'll also find an O-ring collaring this head, whose purpose is to keep moisture and dust out.

This module is QD as well, meaning that, the Picatinny slot retainer is spring loaded and thus, this module can easily slip onto an underbarrel Picatinny rail, just by pushing down on both terminals collected to the retainer. Likewise, this module can be removed just as easily. There is no obtruse latch in the way and the QD system is designed pleasantly flush.

(The laser module btw can be detached from the flashlight unit by means of 4x phillips drive screws accessable by a jeweler's phillips drive, fine phillips screw driver)
