LONG TRIPOD WITH GUN SADDLE

Premium tripod stand w/ 1/4″-20 UNC threading, which allows for the installation of the included rifle hog. The three legs it stands onn are telescopic, w/ two of these featuring foam wraps on the uppermost of their limbs. The legs have 3x locking positions / angles, in the form of notches / catches that, when engaged by all three legs (in the same / matching positions), the legs will be apart the same distance from one another. Thereafter you only have to consider the extension of each leg and ensure they are equally deployed, to ensure a balanced shooting rest.

All three legs are telescopic, meaning they are interfitting tubes that extends out of one another. Assuming you have the legs all on the same extension setting, your legs should still be the same distance apart. The base of the feet / hooves, are rubberized w/ slight points for better surface traction, however, they do not feature any texturing, concentric or otherwise.
The tripod's center colomn is adjustable for height clearance as well, whereupon the ball joint is cupped. The adapter is affixed hereto and onto this, your rifle hog will affix to. It uses an oversized dovetail to affix from the adapter, to the hog. It is also possible to remove the ball joint with the adapter by threading it out, which also features 1/4″-20 UNC threading, so you can convert this tripod effectively into a static tripod that will always be level, w/ no canting possible.

The adapter head has a circular spirit level integrated, which allows you to level your z-axis. The circular level on the size, allows you to check your level at a square angle - this is integrated into the oversized dovetail clamp's fastening knob. All the fastener knobs btw, have premium rubber vulcannizing, w/ lobical deboss in parallel formation, for easy finger traction and excellent ergonomy that really does improve end-user experience. These knobs do lock really positively and leave no play - w/out needing to overtorque the knobs to get the relevant joint to lock firmly.
The top part does rotate 360º btw, when the ball joint is locked. To this end, it has full circle tracking marks, to help you return to your original firing direction, if perhaps, you were aiming at a flock of pigeons that are now blurred out due to a change on your rifle scope's paralax setting and can't remember in which direction you spotting them, for example.

As per normal, we would advise our shooter's to rely on their rifle scope anti-can't level devices more than this tripod's level indicator, if their anti-cant devices are properly tested and works.

The hog saddle is thoroughly rubberized inside the clamp and features flat diamond / tiled checkering for really superb traction.

As per usual, all the load-bearing parts are aluminium-made, w/ the sole exception being the series of lock screws present in its construction, solely accounting for its steel composition.
There attractive elements of a vogue-ish beige-gold present, which does does create an attractive dual tone finish.

The tripod features a triple stage telescopic leg system - all the plastic finger screws tighten up clockwise, whereas turning the screws counter-clockwise, loosens them up, allowing one to stow or deploy the leg(s).

The maximum of this tripod's height, peaks out to 1600mm, w/ a minimum height possible (fully assembled) at 520mm (w/ the legs spread outward to the second catch position, maintaining a clearance of 60mm off the ground for the center colomn.

In conclusion, this is an excellent option for standing shooting positions, crouched shooting positions as well as seated firing positions. You do not need any other adapter, gadget or otherwise to fit your rifle onto this tripod - only 90-95mm clearance on your rifle stock for the hog saddle to clamp onto, so it will suit any rifle, be that air rifle, center or rim fire. This tripod will ensure as much shooting stability as possible, especially useful for long distance targeting, however, not recommended for tactical applications.
