Please see the video in the gallery lineup for a product walk-around in 1080P. This should do the product some justice in ways still-life pictures cannot.
Small, aluminium laser module that produces a red laser dot, not a beam. Can be zeroed in using a 1mm allen wrench (included). You can adjust for windage and elevation this way. It fits onto a Picatinny interface - the crossbar is spring-loaded and to fit it onto a Picatinny rail, you'll need to retract said crossbar, by pushing down on the half-circle nubs on the exterior of the female Picatinny interface. Once on, you can lock it onto a desired Picatinny slot and doing so, should produce an audible snap sound.
This device also has a male Picatinny rail w/ single slot on its belly side, for attaching another Picatinny accessory if so desired.
The device is anodized / black dyed and uses an included CR1/3 battery. It is a lithium 3V cell, so not rechargeable.
The battery compartment comes loose by depressing a tab firmly at the rear, whereafter the cover hinges out, exposing the battery.
We fitted this onto a GLOCK 19 Gen 3 as per illustrated and it operates just fine. Its footprint is minute, doesn't take that much space up either.
Included of course, you'll receive a remote coil line w/ pressure switch pad, which you can affix by means of double sides tape or glue even, if so desired. The pressure pad switch will allow you to remotely -and momentarily- switch the laser unit on for use, whereafter by releasing it, the laser deactivates.
Our overall opinion of this device is positive - it should work fine for a firearm and certainly isn't junk by any standard, but it certainly isn't OLIGHT grade either. It will do the job reliably and repeatedly so. It will hold its own just fine against more premium branded products, though lacks their bells and whistles.
