Bring everyday appliances into a smarter home setup with the SONOFF BASICR4 Wi-Fi Smart Switch. Designed for compatible lights, fans and other electrical loads, BASICR4 gives you remote control, schedules, timers and automation through the eWeLink platform while keeping the hardware compact enough for straightforward indoor installations.
At the centre of BASICR4 is an ESP32-based control platform that supports stable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity and responsive switching. SONOFF's Magic Switch Mode helps preserve smart control in compatible wall-switch installations, while built-in eWeLink-Remote gateway functionality allows supported SONOFF remote sub-devices to be paired for local two-way or multi-way control.
BASICR4 is well suited to South African homes, offices and small automation projects where compatible lighting or appliances need app control, scheduling or integration into a broader smart-home routine.
This product connects to mains electricity. Power must be isolated before wiring, and installation or maintenance should be carried out by a suitably competent person. Follow SONOFF's wiring instructions and applicable South African electrical requirements.
Upgrade compatible circuits with a compact smart switch that gives you practical remote control and automation without overcomplicating your setup.
