SNOWPEAK PR900S-GEN2 REGULATED 5.5MMGet all the bells and whistles at an entry-level price with the Snowpeak PR900S-Gen2 Regulated 5.5mm. Based on the popular Artemis PR900W Gen2, this little powerhouse got a complete overhaul. The solid synthetic stock with enhanced grip is not the only upgrade, though. Additionally, the PR900S delivers dozens of accurate and dependable shots, thanks to a regulator mechanism. You get a 7-shot magazine, single shot tray and removable silencer, as well as spare seals and a fill probe.FeaturesThe wooden version by Artemis (a Snowpeak brand) has always been popular as a "beginner's" airgun, and also for shooters looking for a lightweight powerhouse. This Gen2 version comes complete with a removable silencer, as well as a threaded barrel.If open sight shooting is your go-to, then you're in luck! The front sight, located just behind the barrel's threading, is a fixed metal blade sight. On the other hand, the rear sights are adjustable and removable. The Dovetail milled breech lets you add either a scope or other optics of your choice, even over the sights if the mounts allow. An adjustable trigger lets you control your pull, while the manual Cross Trigger safety ensures no accidental shots get fired.You can shoot either single shot or multi-shot, thanks to an included single shot tray and 7-shot magazine. Safety
Yes, push-through button at the base of the trigger guard (near the rifle stock). To the left, the button will appear w/ a red line around its protruded circumference. This is the FIRE position. Toward the right, with the button pushed through, the rifle will be in SAFE. This will disable the trigger.
Stock
Very dense black synthetic. Has a bit of heft to it as well. Checkering is rather coarse too, allowing for better traction.
Mounting rail
9-11 mm dovetail as before - The rail is segmented, w/ a longer strip to the rear and a shorter one at the front. The breech separates the two lengths.
Sights
Supplied w/ open sights as before - static front sight fitted on the barrel end just sort of the muzzle thread. The rear sight is adjustable both for windage and elevation. As before, for fitted scopes w/ a larger objective diameter, the rear sight assembly can be removed.
Number of shots per fill
Manufacturer claims 40, presumably due to the rifle being regulated.
