The Snowpeak M40 is a powerful semi-automatic pcp air rifle in compact bullpup guise with a German beech stock. It’s regulated, meaning the pressure will not vary depending on the pressure inside of the air reservoir, making for a far better accuracy.
Cocking is done with a sidelever and the 2-stage trigger is adjustable, while the trigger pressure can be set anywhere between 225 and 2270 grams (0.5-5 lbf). The Snowpeak M40 features a fully shrouded barrel that has a moderating effect on the sounds. Of course, there’s a Weaver/Picatinny rail to mount a rifle scope or red dot.
This affordable PCP air rifle has a lightweight beech stock with a comfortable pistol grip and rubber buttpad. The gun manages to keep its compact size thanks to its bullpup design. The manual safety is placed right on the metal trigger and all you need to do to disengage it is to simply push it in.
The 22 mm Weaver rail covers the entire upper part of the barrel. It will allow you to attach any scope you want.
The air cylinder has a capacity of 260 cc and the maximum fill pressure is 250 bar. The pressure gauge is located on the front end of the cylinder. This model comes with a fill probe but you need to buy a Quick-Fill nozzle to be able to fill it. The pressure regulator ensures a stable and consistent performance.
The side lever is located on the right side of the rifle and is secured with a safety catch so cocking takes some getting used to. The magazine has a capacity of ten .22 caliber (5,5 mm) pellets.
