TheRuike LD31is a pocket knife enhanced with multiple tools. Sort of like a Swiss pocket knife, but not made in Switzerland. The Ruike LD31 is a pocket knife with a one-handed opening and a double lock. A double lock? Yes! The knife is held in place by a slipjoint. Exactly as is common for the famous red pocket knives. In addition to a slipjoint Ruike has added as linerlock in de handle to make sure the slipjoint doesn’t close when you don’t want it to. An incredibly safe system, perfect for intensive use. For this knife Ruike has chosen Swedish Sandvik 12C27 steel. A stainless type of steel you can easily sharpen yourself.
The handle on the Ruike LD-pocket knives is made from black G10, a light-weight type of composite material comprised of glass fibres and plastic. Incredibly strong and it offers you enough grip. A sustainable choice for a pocket knife you will be using for years.
At the end of the handle you will find a tungsten carbide glass breaker. This rock-solid material can easily crack open a car window. In case of an emergency you will definitely be able to quickly get yourself and someone else out of the car. Also good to know: you can use the tip for engravings. Carve your initials in objects for others to know that they are yours. Think of tools you could occasionally lend to someone.
Somewhat hidden inside the pocket knife is the pair of tweezers. Located next to the glass breaker it slightly sticks out underneath the G10 handle. Great when you want to remove splinters.
