F181 is designed for tactical use, outdoor use and rescue use where strong tip and sturdy edge point matters. As a large and sturdy fixed blade beast of excellent quality, there is also a rear safety ring on F181, along with ergonomically shaped and textured G10 handle, offering quite firm grip and comfortable reverse-grip hit. The knife also comes with a rugged sheath for convenient carrying and maintenance.
The Ruike P881 is an affordable top-quality karambit pocket knife. You quickly open it with the flipper to make sure you can quickly get to work. Originally, karambit knives come from the Philippines. That is where they were often used in agriculture. This modern interpretation is very versatile. From EDC to tactical purposes.
The blade is made from 14C28N steel. A stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well, but is also easy to sharpen. Perfect for daily use. The handle is made from G10. Nice and strong and maintenance-free.
As you might expect from a karambit you primarily use the 'reverse grip' for this pocket knife. With your index finger through the ring, and the blade that sticks out underneath your fist. Perhaps not incredibly practical, that is why Ruike made sure the 'normal' grip is also perfect to use. Even with a large finger groove behind the edge, to have more control over the knife for the more delicate tasks.
Sandvik 14C28N is a martensitic stainless chromium steel with a chemistry optimized for highquality professional knife applications which put very high demands on edge sharpness, edgestability and corrosion resistance. As to this knife, the 14C28N is intensively processed by RUIKEusing quenching and cryogenic treatment, which features an ideal hardness of 58~60 HRC.
RUIKE knife handles are a blend of fiberglass and resin, giving the knives the ability to withstand intense forces, preventing scrapes and general abrasion.
