Accuracy falls apart the moment a rifle is unsupported. Heart rate, breathing and the simple business of holding several kilograms steady at arm's length all conspire against a clean standing shot, and the further out the target sits, the more those small movements are magnified. The RAM Trigger Stick Gen 3 Bipod is built to take that variable off the table, giving you a stable platform that sets up in seconds and adjusts without ever taking your hand off the rifle.
The defining feature of the Trigger Stick range is its trigger mechanism. Squeeze the grip and the legs release, allowing the rest to drop or extend to whatever height the ground and your shooting position call for. Let go and it locks. The entire adjustment happens with one hand, which means your shooting hand stays where it belongs while your support hand does the work.
That matters in the field far more than it does on paper. Terrain changes constantly, and a rest that requires two hands and a few seconds of fiddling to reset is a rest you stop using. The Gen 3 extends from 1 metre to 1.65 metres, a span that carries you from a low kneeling position through to a full standing shot without swapping equipment or hunting for a different setup.
The bipod configuration is the faster, lighter option in the Trigger Stick family. Two extendable locking legs deploy quicker than three and weigh less to carry across a long day of walking, and repositioning is a matter of lifting and planting rather than resetting a full stance. It is the natural choice for stalking and any situation where you are covering ground and need support that keeps pace with you.
Construction is anodised aluminium, which keeps the weight sensible while resisting the corrosion and surface wear that come with bush, dust and weather exposure.
The V yoke that cradles the rifle lifts off quickly, and underneath sits a standard tripod mount. That single detail turns a dedicated rifle rest into a general purpose support. Spotting scopes, laser rangefinders, cameras and most other tripod mountable equipment attach directly, so the same stick that steadied your shot in the morning can hold a spotting scope through an afternoon of glassing.
