OPTEX VXI WIRELESS OUTDOOR PIR WITH MICROWAVE/AM

The VXI outdoor intrusion detection sensor range is our top-selling product, providing highly reliable approach detection with a range of up to 12m for both residential and commercial applications.

Mounted at a height of approximately 1.2m, this sensor features two PIRs for a double-layered detection area. To prevent false alarms, the sensor will only trigger when both layers are activated. The VXI sensors are designed to be animal tolerant and utilize digital analysis to eliminate potential false alarms.

The VXI-RDAM model is battery-powered and equipped with anti-masking technology. With a digital microprocessor that analyzes infrared emissions, this sensor can differentiate between human-generated and environmental emissions, such as sunlight, animals, vegetation sway, or weather conditions.

This technology, combined with microwave technology, results in a high level of stability and greatly reduces the risk of false alarms. The detection length of the VXI sensors can be adjusted to 12m, 8.5m, 6m,
