OPTEX QXI OUTDOOR BEAM - 120 DEGREE
The QXI-ST is the hard-wired model of the QX Infinity (QXI) series, which offers a 120° wide and 12m (40ft) detection area that can be adjusted using the included masking strips.
These sleek and compact outdoor sensors are ideal for residential or commercial buildings, providing reliable intrusion and motion detection that won't be triggered by animals, and can be used to activate an alarm panel or CCTV camera.
The QXI outdoor intrusion sensors can be installed at a high mount between 2.2 and 2.7m creating a multi-level volumetric detection pattern, allowing it to ignore small animals. In environments with larger animals, the sensor can be mounted between 0.8 and 1.2m height, to provide a pet alley.
The QXI outdoor intruder sensors are designed to be not affected by environment or small animals. The alarm will not be triggered by changes of weather, vegetation sways or pets in the detection area, contributing to reliable outdoor detection. Additionally the series features double conductive shielding which filters out visible light and RFI disturbance.
The dimensions of the sensor and finish of the shielding have been designed to make the sensor easy to blend in any residential or small commercial building. Also with the customer in mind the sensor features a screwless design making the opening and closing of the front cover very easy.
