OPTEX BXS SHIELD WIRED OUTDOOR PIR WITH AM
The BXS SHIELD WIRED OUTDOOR PIR WITH AM is expertly crafted to safeguard your property's immediate perimeter from unauthorized access. It is impervious to outside interference and resistant to small critters, making it a perfect complement to your alarm system and outdoor surveillance.
Featuring dual left-right curtain detection zones, each with a range of up to 12m (24m total), the BXS SHIELD provides flexible choices for wiring, wireless capability, and anti-masking technology.
This product offers independent customization for each side, allowing for detection ranges to be set separately. This means that on the left side, a detection range of 3.5m can be set, while on the right side it can be set to 12m.
Additionally, sensitivity can be adjusted for each side to account for varying levels of sunlight. For video surveillance purposes, the sensor also has separate alarm outputs for the left and right sides, making it incredibly useful.
The innovative SMDA (Super Multidimensional Analysis) technology from OPTEX allows the detector to identify detected objects by analyzing passive infrared signals and environmental information.
With this advanced system, the BXS can accurately distinguish between real intrusions and false alarms triggered by weather changes or moving vegetation. Plus, its size analysis feature ensures small animals won't set off any unnecessary alerts.
With its reliance on temperature differences between a moving object and its surroundings, the OPTEX BXS SHIELD WIRED OUTDOOR PIR WITH AM is ideal for hot climates, where detecting even the slightest difference is crucial. When used in these regions, its sensitivity can be set to an extreme level, ensuring optimal detection and minimizing the risk of missed alarms.
