Nextorch WL60 Green Laser Gunlight, 700 Lumens
Most combination units force a compromise the moment you mount them. The light and the laser share one switch, so reaching the setting you want means cycling past the one you do not, in the dark, with one hand. The Nextorch WL60 avoids that entirely by giving each source its own control, which is the single design decision that separates a unit you can operate without looking from one you cannot.
Independent switching on the WL60
The white light and the green laser have separate switches, so either can be used alone or both together, and the choice is made directly rather than through a sequence. That is supported by a tactical remote switch with independent buttons covering momentary on, constant on and strobe. Momentary suits a quick check where you want light only while the button is held. Constant on suits sustained work. Having all three on discrete buttons means no accidental strobe when you wanted steady light.
The 5 milliwatt green laser and 700 lumens of white light
The laser is rated at 5 milliwatts and green rather than red, because human vision peaks close to the green part of the spectrum and a green dot therefore reads as far brighter than a red one of identical power. Alongside it, the white channel produces up to 700 lumens for general illumination. The two are meant for different tasks: the laser marks a point, the light shows the surroundings, and the independent switching means you never have to trade one for the other.
Mounting and battery options
It fits all standard Picatinny rails and installs or removes quickly with no additional tools, so moving it between platforms takes seconds rather than a bench session. Power comes from either a single 18650 or two CR123A cells. That flexibility is worth having: 18650 cells are the economical rechargeable choice for regular use, while CR123A cells hold their charge for years in storage and perform well in the cold.
