Ask an auto electrician about working under a dashboard with a cheap headlamp and you will hear the same complaint every time: the wires all look the same colour. Blue reads as black, brown reads as red, and the only reliable method becomes counting positions in a connector. That is not a brightness problem. Colour Rendering Index measures how accurately a light source shows colour compared with natural daylight, on a scale to 100. Output that suits a working day
Boost gives 1000 lumens at 250 metres for short bursts. Power mode runs 600 lumens over 200 metres for about 4 hours, which is the setting most work happens on. Low power drops to 15 lumens at 25 metres and stretches to 60 hours. Stepless dimming places the output anywhere between those points, and the memory function returns to your chosen level next time you switch on rather than resetting.
Built to be dropped

Flex Sealing Technology with an IP67 rating covers full dust ingress protection and temporary immersion, so rain, washdown and a dropped light in a puddle are all survivable. Flicker free operation matters on a working headlamp for two reasons: it prevents the eye strain that builds over a long shift, and it stops rotating machinery appearing stationary under the beam, which is a real hazard around a lathe or a drill.
