Ledlenser H19R Signature Headlamp: 4000 lumens with app control, a wireless wrist remote and a full mounting kit
The H19R Signature is the most complete lighting package Ledlenser builds in a head mounted format. Raw output reaches 4000 lumens, but the number that actually distinguishes it from everything below is the breadth of what comes in the box and the degree to which the lamp can be controlled and mounted. This is a lighting system rather than a torch on a strap.
How it differs from the H19R Core
Both models share Fusion Beam Technology, running two high power Xtreme LEDs behind independently adjustable lenses so flood and spot can be balanced against one another. The Signature adds four things on top of that foundation.
Output rises from 3500 to 4000 lumens. Colour rendering improves to CRI 80 through Natural Light Technology, against CRI 70 on the Core, which makes surfaces and materials look considerably more true. Bluetooth connectivity and the Ledlenser Connect App arrive, along with a wireless wrist remote. And the accessory package expands from a lamp to a full mounting ecosystem.
If your work is straightforward high output illumination, the Core covers it. The Signature is for people who need to mount the lamp on things, control it without touching it, or see accurate colour.
Remote and app control
The included wireless wrist remote is the feature that repays itself fastest. When a lamp is helmet mounted, bike mounted or sitting on a tripod, reaching up to press a button is awkward at best and impossible with thick gloves on. A remote on your wrist means changing modes without breaking position or removing a hand from what it is doing.
Bluetooth connects the lamp to the Ledlenser Connect App, where lighting programmes can be built, settings adjusted and the lamp operated from a phone. Being able to define your own mode sequence rather than cycling through a factory order is the sort of control that matters when a lamp is used the same way every day.
Light quality and adaptive output
Natural Light Technology with CRI 80 is a meaningful upgrade for anyone who needs to judge colour under artificial light, whether that is reading map contours, assessing terrain, inspecting equipment or identifying wildlife. Multi-Core Optics distribute output evenly and efficiently across the beam.
Optisense Technology reads ambient light and adjusts brightness automatically, preventing the lamp from blinding you when you look at something close and conserving battery when full power is unnecessary. A dedicated red light mode preserves dark adapted vision, and additional Strobe, Position, SOS and Blink modes cover signalling and safety.
Output levels and power
Boost gives 4000 lumens to 330 metres in short bursts. Power runs 1800 lumens to 250 metres for around 3 to 3.5 hours, Mid Power gives 800 lumens to 150 metres for about 7 hours, and Low Power provides 200 lumens to 80 metres for up to 20 hours.
A removable 21700-2S Li-ion pack, built from two 21700 cells at 4800 mAh and 7.4V for roughly 35.52 Wh, supplies the lamp and recharges magnetically in about 330 minutes. Because the pack lifts out, a spare gives you unlimited runtime on a long operation. The pack mounts at the rear of the headband, balancing the weight front to back so the 374 gram total does not pull forward during extended wear. Without the battery the lamp head weighs about 224 grams.
Mounting options
The supplied kit covers a Bluetooth remote, helmet connecting kit, extension cable, GoPro adapter, bike mount, tripod adapter, universal bracket and further mounting hardware. That range lets the same lamp work on a climbing helmet, a handlebar, a tripod for static area lighting, or any GoPro compatible mount, which is a large part of why this model suits expeditions and rescue work where one piece of kit has to adapt to whatever the situation requires.
Durability
Sealing is IP68, covering dust tight protection and submersion rather than splashes. Drop resistance is 1.5 metres, the operating range runs from -20°C to +40°C, and construction uses aluminium alloy components with an elastic, washable, antimicrobial headband. The head measures around 68 mm across. Temperature Control and Flicker-Free operation hold output steady through long runs, while a Transportation Lock, Backup Mode and Memory Function round out the specification.
