Really powerful rifle for the price tag, not quite rivalling the Sumatra, but getting very close. The 10 shot magazine capacity plus the fact that this rifle comes w/ 2x of these, is a god-send.
The receiver / rifle action has a partitioned Picatinny rail featured on top, to allow you to affix Picatinny mount rings, something like a red dot sight or whatever target acquisition optic that you'd like. It is supplied w/ a brass plug-on 1/8" BSP threaded female quick coupler, that unlike a regular foster fitting, does not require a bearing-loaded sleeve to be retracted, in order to fit the male quick coupler affixed on the belly-side of the rifle, which is a really nice innovation.
The barrel as illustrated, is completely shrouded, to dampen this beast's roar, which can be further done by threading a silencer onto the 1/2 x 20" UNF male threading on the muzzle end of the rifle. These threads have a thread protector on them, for storage purposes.
The rifle cocks on the right hand face of the receiver, by means of the side cocking lever, which does feature a downward, vertical bar for manipulating the cocking lever easier. The safety lever likewise, sits slightly behind the cocking lever, which is a toggle switch that can be actuated backward and forward, with a simple gesture of one's thumb. These types of safety levers are similar to those found on the LEVIATHAN and are quite ergonomical.
The pistol grip isn't the beefiest, which is nice, as one's grasp can more effectively make purchase onto the finger grooves more efficiently, translating into a firmer, more confident hold on the rifle.
We like the trigger on this rifle as well - it is something of a 'competition grade' trigger, featuring a nifty little adjustable shoe, which can be made to shift vertically or horizontally to suit your personal preference.
The buttplate on the stock can be adjusted both up and down for personal ergonomy, with a little effort. Perhaps the only downside to this rifle, is that it features no adjustable cheekpiece, although one could always 'build the comb up' as they say, by means of layers of wrapping and compounding this wrapping proper. Otherwise, you might need to use as low mount rings as possible, low for a 32 and 40mm objective, medium for 44 and 50mm, high for a 56mm objective diameter.
You get a goofy foregrip included, which is a very durable piece of polymer and can be split outward to create an inverted V-resting position, though we would recommend just getting a more proper bipod, with tilting, extending, hinging and full panning capability. This type of bipod will make your hunting experience just that much better in the field.
This beefy calibre will be sure to smoke just about anything you aim the barrel of this rifle at with little problem, making this a perfect all-purpose long range rifle. The side cocking action and larger capacity magazine, allows one to stay shooting in one's shooting position w/out needing to move, aside from the necessity to track game. The air reservoir capacity is considerably above average even for other PCP rifles of comparable price, thus, only the lack of loaded magazines might interrupt your shooting experience.
