This is the GUERILLA SNORRE, a CO2 pistol replica of the now-discontinued / legacy model SP2022 by Sig Sauer. It was one of the first handguns commercially available, that featured an underbarrel Picatinny rail.
The slide itself is completely metal, featuring realistic cocking serrations. The slide features a set of open sights w/ the frontal on bearing a white dot imprint for target aquisition purposes.
The slide catch notch and field strip notch are realistically cut out, likewise the slide catch-lever, those these are just dummy features and just serve a cosmetic purpose. The hammer at the rear can actuate, although again, is just a dummy feature and serve no mechanical purpose.
The handle has a polymer wrap-around that is lightly stippled w/ a slight bulge for better ergonomy. The magazine floorplate flatlines outward, providing a nice slip-catch for your hand. The front side of the handle have a horizontal and vertical pattern of serrations intended to increase finger traction.
The trigger is all metal, the magazine release switch is triangular, just like on the Sig Sauer firearm counterpart. The safety lever is a vertical, angular slider, corresponding w/ the natural arc of movement of one's right thumb, which is a really nice feature. Behind the magazine floorplate, we have a lanyard loophole, for affixing a pistol lanyard - which BTW - we stock as well;
- HEAVIER DUTY PISTOL LANYARD - BLACK
Otherwise, we have a triple slot Picatinny rail under the barrel for mounting a flashlight or laser. The barrel front is ported to give a 9mmø appearance, w/ the recessed 4.5mm brass barrel sitting deeper in.
In terms of pistol action - We would call this 'CO2 non-blowback double action' - has the harder trigger pull, though it is a cost-effective trigger system that works well abd causes little barrel twitch.
The all-metal magazine does put alot of weight on the pistol and contributes significantly to a more realistic felt weight. The 12g CO2 capsules load up vertically into the magazine - one has to use the included allen wrench to thread the push cap at the bottom off. Once the 12g CO2 capsule has been inserted NOZZLE-UP, then one can thread the push cap back in. This cap, as its name implies, pushes the nozzle end of the CO2 capsule up by consecutive upward rotations, forcing the capsule nozzle to meet the brass nozzle tip, which pierces it. As the gas starts escaping, just torque the push cap another quarter turn or so, until you hear the leak stop, then you should be good to start shooting.
Please note that warranties on this product does not extend to the seals / the gun's ability to maintain its airtightness. Reason for this being that regular lubrication of the seals are necessary to keep them supple and prevent them from cracking after some time. The lubricant we recommend can be found here;
- SINGER ALL PURPOSE OIL - 80ML
We can almost certainly guarentee you that your gun will leak / experience some other gas-related misfortune with your CO2 pistol if you keep your gas in. Some people say they don't experience it this way, though the majority of cases we found, the end user left the gun pressurized and did not de-pressurize it after use.
We don't recommend this gun as a stand-by self defence. While steel shot at these muzzle velocities will definitely shoot someone open at closer distances, it lacks real stopping power. Just bear this in mind. Although for the price, we can hardly complain;
