At first, the pistol of the CCCP's own fight against organized crime / serious public misdemeandour, this pistol would later trickle down into the hands of the BRATVA / The Russian Mafia, as it were, and would become synonymous w/ hit-and-run crimes, gang related shootouts and armed robbery. More associated w/ infamy that legend, this is nevertheless, being an axiom, a lovely Soviet-reponse to the German WALTHER PPK and even field strips exactly the same. We hope you guys do enjoy this little gun! 🦍

(Please see the two videos in the media lineup - extremely informative)

This pistol is a really lovely little gun, featuring a double-action trigger only, which does have quite a bit of takeup before it breaks to fire the shot. The hammer does actuate per shot fired, which lends a little extra realism to the shooting experience. The actual hammer is metal and does serve to strike the valve on the magazine to release gas, to propel your shots. Behind the actual hammer, is the dummy hammer, which is toggled by the former, to lend more replica realism.

The gripstock is a wood-looking type which of course, is plastic w/ a deep brown colour. It is diamond checkered for added ergonomy and is a wrap-around 2/3 type, fixed in place via a large socket head screw at the handle backstrap.

The sights are proper / realistic and can be used as firing sights, although we're not 100% at which distance these sights are zeroed for.

The magazine is all-metal, full sized, drop-free, which is really realistic and does certainly add to the shooting experience, especially w/ regards to the added weight it adds to the pistol. It likewise makes it easy to maintain repair the pistol if it were ever to leak.

The slide-mounted safety likewise is fully functional, basically engaging or disengaging the trigger from the sear, as it were.

The pistol is a two-piece clamshell assembly, which fastens together by means of phillips drive screws via the right face of the pistol and likewise, toggled from that side.

In terms of personal defence w/ this pistol, sure, go for it. The pistol is cheap enough and we've had customers who has had these guns for years on end w/out experiencing any leak issues. Likewise then, these are the people who do look after their stuff and don't leave the gun pressurized for months on end inside of a drawer, perpetually pressurized by the CO2 capsule - we advise not keeping this pistol pressurized for more than 24 hours on end, likewise, to apply lubricant habitually. (The instructional manual also indictes this) In terms of lubricant, you can utilize some silicone spray or otherwise, SINGER OIL also works. In terms of where, w/out disassembling the magazine - You could chuck a drop or two in via the place where the CO2 capsule would press against the seal inside of the CO2 capsule slot. Do this for every 3rd - 5th CO2 capsule. This would work out you cheaper than the lubrication capsules, but the ASG lubrication capsules are more effective.

Other than that, in retrospect of the sales of this pistol - we've not really had much in the way of complaints / errors w/ this gun, unless the end user may have jammed a BB and using incorrect means of extracting it or may have otherwise negligently utilized the pistol. Also, just watch out for debris from the CO2 capsule (fine metallic parts) that may stick to the seal around the nozzle and eventually make its way into the valve assembly and cause an improper seal as a consequence.

Trigger Action
CO2 pistol type DAO (semiauto) - the barrel goes rearward along w/ the trigger, locking back at the apex of the trigger pull. Unlike the SNORRE and alot of other cheap CO2 pistols, where you have the barrel beinng spring loaded and ramming against the rear, after being pushed out forwardly.
The downside on this system w/ the PM is the hefty trigger reset - the trigger has to go all the way to the front, before it will toggle the sear again.
