The Otus carries no internal cell at all. Twelve CREE LEDs totalling 36 W draw power through a coiled cigarette lighter cable, so output is limited by the vehicle rather than a pack needing a charge between outings.
On an average motor vehicle battery it will run over 20 hours. On a 12 V 7 Ah portable power pack, expect around 2 hours. Up to 3500 lumens comes from an aluminium and ABS body with a single on and off switch, LEDs rated beyond 50,000 hours, and a red filter and drawstring bag supplied.
