Engineered to dominate .22LR precision rifle competitions, the FX Panthera represents a new chapter in FX Airguns history. This dedicated slug rifle was designed from inception for precision competition, pushing airgun performance boundaries with generational technology advances.
Revolutionary Dynamic Block
At the heart of the Panthera lies the new Dynamic Block—a breech system engineered specifically for performance slug shooting. The compact one-piece High-Power / Short-Impulse Valve delivers exceptional efficiency while providing immense, precisely controlled airflow.
Innovative Over-The-Barrel Plenum
The Dynamic Plenum feeding the Panthera is revolutionary—the first over-the-barrel design of its kind. This system delivers consistent regulated pressure around the barrel, increasing rigidity while accommodating multiple plenum lengths matched to caliber and power requirements. The single AMP MKII Regulator maintains precise pressure levels.
Three plenum sizes available: Micro Plenum (sub-12ft/lb rifles), Macro Plenum (62cc), and Magnum XL Plenum (156cc).
Extraordinary Performance Results
Testing demonstrates consistent 10-shot strings with standard deviations in the 1.0–2.0 range and extreme spreads as low as 3-4. This precise air control combined with the world-class FX Superior STX barrel and premium slugs delivers competition-winning accuracy—not just in airgun events. Competition-Ready Stock Design
Purpose-built for competition with a 14.75" Arca rail featuring M-LOK sections and a breech-adjacent barricade block. Achieve ideal balance using external M-LOK weights or internal FX Barrel Weights under the shroud. The fully adjustable buttstock and ambidextrous cheekpiece ensure perfect shooter fit.
Air & Ammunition System
A rear-mounted 300cc carbon fiber bottle fills via rear Foster Quick Disconnect. The larger Dynamic Block breech accommodates projectiles up to 13mm length. Uses the Standard Side-Shot Magazine with a newly designed deeper lid for longer slugs.
