The EMPIRE 5K BURST DISK – 2 PACK provides replacement pressure-relief components for compatible paintball high-pressure air (HPA) tank systems that specify a 5K burst disk. Each unit incorporates a sacrificial rupture element designed to vent excess pressure. The two-pack supplies one replacement and one spare for equipment servicing.
For replacement of a matching 5K burst disk on a compatible paintball air-tank valve or regulator. Use only where the equipment manufacturer specifies this rating and fitting. The 5K marking refers to a nominal 5,000 psi burst rating; it is not the cylinder’s permitted filling pressure or the regulator’s output pressure.
Match the original component’s rating, thread and manufacturer specification. Do not substitute a higher-rated disk or assume that matching threads alone establish compatibility. Have a qualified air-system technician investigate the cause of a ruptured disk and carry out replacement with the system fully depressurised.
