EL PASO HIDE-AWAY HARD LEATHER (IWB) - MEDIUM RAIL
These 'HIDE AWAY' series of holsters, brings hard leather super-rigidity to the inside of the waistband, giving you a lovely balance between hardshell and polymer hardshell. These are profile moulded not to any one pistol, but rather, the rough shape of a pistol size class.
Hard leather like this, breaks in nicely, but unlike material, retains its mould over the years, if the appropriate care is applied (see footnote)
- MEDIUM RAIL (general fit) - Fits, for example,
CZ-USA CZ75 Compact, Beretta APX Compact, Beretta PX4, Ruger American Compact, Sig Sauer P320 XCompact, Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0 Compact 3.6, Taurus G3C, Springfield Hellcat Pro OSP, FN 509, CZ 75 P-07, SIG Sauer P229 Legion Compact SAO.
Key Features:
- HI-BACK - a Riser on the inner face of the holster that acts as a partial sweat guard / pressure guard - keeping your sweat away from the pistol and the pistol's hard slide covered from you
- Softer interior - this lessens abrasion working in on your pistol's slide every time you holster and draw the gun.
- HARD LEATHER composition - implies longevity, impact resistance, abrasion resistance and otherwise the best sort of protection for your pistol.
- Hard moulded - The pistol holsters w/out assistance needed, for example, to open the holster mouth. It moreover features its own sort of passive-retention, where the shape of the holster retains the pistol.
-
Steel clip - Barred in place by way of a steel stud - the clip has some freedom to cant. Unlike some other plastic clips on the market, these of course, won't break / be compromised.
- Made from Bovine / Cow leather
- We do order holsters that are underbarrel flashlight / laser accommodating. Please enquire with us.
In terms of maintenance:
All EL PASO's products come varnished out of the factory - treatment is only necessary once you notice that the holster starts looking dull - at this point, you can use linseed oil or liquid paraffin for treating the leather.
Is also a lovely option for treating oil, as it is mineral based, we understand.
DO NOT use DUBBIN as this will block the pores of the leather and causes the thread stitching to start rotting.
