These 'HIDE AWAY' series of holsters, brings hard leather super-rigidity to the inside of the waistband, giving you a lovely balance between hardshell and polymer hardshell. These are profile moulded not to any one pistol, but rather, the rough shape of a pistol size class.Hard leather like this, breaks in nicely, but unlike material, retains its mould over the years, if the appropriate care is applied (see footnote)

In terms of maintenance:
All EL PASO's products come varnished out of the factory - treatment is only necessary once you notice that the holster starts looking dull - at this point, you can use linseed oil or liquid paraffin for treating the leather.
Is also a lovely option for treating oil, as it is mineral based, we understand. DO NOT use DUBBIN as this will block the pores of the leather and causes the thread stitching to start rotting.
