Squinting downrange through a scope trying to see where your pellet hit a plain paper target wastes time and breaks your shooting rhythm. Splatter targets solve this by revealing each impact instantly. When a pellet strikes the target face, the top layer peels away to expose a bright contrasting colour underneath, creating a visible halo around the hole that you can spot from the shooting line without walking downrange or pulling out binoculars.
Each 7.5 cm (3-inch) target is the right size for precision practice with air rifles, air pistols, and slingshots at typical backyard and indoor distances. The compact diameter forces you to aim deliberately rather than simply firing in the general direction of a large target face, which builds better fundamentals faster. At 10 metres with an air rifle, a 3-inch circle demands genuine concentration. At 25 metres, it becomes a genuine challenge that exposes inconsistencies in your hold, breathing, and trigger control.
The adhesive backing sticks directly onto any flat surface: a cardboard backer, a wooden board, an existing paper target, or a pellet trap face. No staples, no tape, no clips. Peel and press. When the target is used up, peel it off and stick a fresh one in its place in seconds. You can also place multiple targets across a single backer board to create a multi-aim drill or a scored competition layout for informal range sessions with friends.
The black, red, and yellow colour combination provides strong visual contrast in most lighting conditions, from a well-lit indoor range to an overcast afternoon in the garden.
See every hit without leaving the firing line. Buy 3-inch splatter targets online at NeonSales, delivered across South Africa.
