What Spin-Loc means

Spin-Loc refers to the removable air cylinder system. The cylinder unscrews from the rifle, which means you can carry a second charged cylinder and swap it in the field rather than returning to a pump or a dive bottle. On a long session away from your fill source, that is the difference between shooting all day and packing up when the pressure drops.

You still need a fill source

As with any PCP, the rifle does not come with a way to charge it. You need a hand pump, a dive bottle with the correct adapter, or an electric compressor. That is a genuine additional cost and worth budgeting for at the same time, particularly if this is your first pre-charged rifle.

Common questions

Does colour affect anything? No. Black and red are the same rifle, and both are priced identically.

Is 4.5mm the right calibre? .177, or 4.5mm, shoots flatter and suits target work and general shooting. If you want more energy on target for pest control, .22 platforms elsewhere in the range are the better choice.

Do I need a springer-rated scope? No. PCPs have no two-way recoil, so any quality scope will work. That is one of the advantages over a spring rifle.

How many shots per fill? That depends on the cylinder pressure and how the rifle is set up. A chronograph is the only reliable way to find your usable shot count before velocity starts dropping off.
