Stream or fog, honestly

Direct stream demands better aim and rewards it with range and wind resistance. Fog is forgiving on aim and covers a wider area, at the cost of range and a real blowback risk in wind or a confined space such as a vehicle interior. For most people carrying a spray outdoors, stream is the more reliable choice. For a handbag or a bedside drawer where an encounter would be at arm's length, fog is easier to use under stress.

Size and practicality
