What you need alongside the marker

An AEG is not ready to play out of the box. You need a battery and a charger matched to it, since these run on electric gearboxes rather than gas or spring. You need 6mm BBs, and weight matters more than most beginners expect, since heavier BBs hold a straighter line outdoors. Spare magazines are worth having, and eye protection is not optional at any site.
