IWB, OWB or appendix?

Fit is model-specific, not brand-specific

This is where most ordering mistakes happen. A holster moulded for a Glock 19 will also list the 23 and 32, because those share a frame. It will not fit a Glock 17, which is longer, or a Glock 43, which is a different pistol entirely. Check the exact model numbers in the listing against your pistol rather than matching on brand. If you run a rail-mounted light, you need a light-bearing holster, since a standard one will not close around it.

What generation should you buy?

The I-Mini Guard runs from Gen 2 through Gen 4, and later generations generally bring improved retention adjustment and refinements to the belt attachment. Gen 2 models remain in the range at a lower price and still work. If the exact pistol fit is available in both, the newer generation is the better holster.

Common questions

Are universal holsters worth it? The Mega Fit will hold a wide range of pistols and is useful if you carry more than one, or own something obscure with no dedicated mould. A model-specific holster retains better and prints less, so it is the better choice when one exists for your pistol.

Can I adjust the retention? Most models include a tensioning screw. Set it so the pistol seats with an audible click and does not move when the holster is inverted, without needing force to draw.

Left hand or right hand? Holsters are hand-specific. Order for your drawing hand, and note that most of the range is right hand with left hand offered on selected models only.
