What Redi-Mount means

The scope ships with the mount already fitted and aligned, so there is nothing to buy separately and no chance of ordering the wrong ring height or rail type. That matters more than it sounds, since mounting errors ruin more scopes than any other cause. Check that the supplied mount matches your rail before ordering, since air rifles typically use 9-11mm dovetail while other platforms use Weaver or Picatinny.
