This is a really nice rifle, featuring a rock-solid synthetic grey stock w/ adjustable cheek piece w/ broad grooves (reminiscent of a boot sole pattern) for tacking to your shoulder and allowing you to form a cheek weld w/out worrying if the rifle will slip from your shoulder.

The pistol grip certainly is a pleasant feature and allows for better grip - and control (in our opinion) - over the rear of the rifle. Having a pistol grip allows you to have a proper clenched grip on an object and instills more user-confidence - probably one of the only repeater / mag-fed break barrel rifles w/ these nice tactical features.

It should go w/out saying that the rail applicable here is a Picatinny one - really neat change of scenery from the usual and outdated dovetail that we see on recoiling air rifles. The Picatinny rail does away w/ the need for a grub-screw to be sunk into the action as backstop or to use some other 'plan' to prevent the scope moving, when a tried and trusted method good for firearms, would do the trick. Weaver mount rings work here all the same.

As there is minimal recoil applicable here, you can safely make your pick w/ one of our telescope options and per our recommendation, we normally advise customers to look at the HAWKE range, given its value and sterling reputation, notwithstanding the clarity on the lenses.

The rifle otherwise sports a full polymer shroud to dampen the shot report, although again, this does little for the hitting sound produced by the nitro piston which generates the compressed air. The sights are fibre-optic inserts and the rear sight is adjustable for both windage as well as elevation.

To round a good package off, manufacturers have added some sling mounting options for those who might want to carry their rifle off with them into the bush and go hunt.

The magazine otherwise is a little small and fidgety, though just consult the instruction manual carefully before use and familiarize yourself well with this magazine - CROSMAN magazine operated break barrel rifles are somewhat notorious for having delicate / all-plastic magazines that can break if stepped on hard enough. Just handle it with care and you should be fine.
