Basic butterfly knife a-la Balisong - iconic knife sort that originated in the Philipines. It has since been widely popularized in media, particularly films, where stunt persons apt at these tricks, perform the 'double rollout'. Easy to master, yet certainly intimidating. These tricks in themselves will require determination, patience and alot of time, even bandages, to perfect and get under the knee. This one in particular, have a set of 115mm handles that feature wave-like patterning for better grip and aesthetic.. The edge is sharp enough out of the box, to slice through paper w/ reasonable ease. The swedge on this knife end allows for easy penetration, due to the slimline design.
The blade measures in 100mm in its totality, featuring a double edge on the one side, and a false edge on the other.
The entirety of it, is manufactured from aluminium, likewise featuring a T-shaped latch lock.
The handles themselves are a set of plates fixed apart at about 3.5mm by means of spacers.
This is a lovely cheapie option to get yourself into the game, a product that should likely last you about 2 years with frequent use. Thereafter, or if more serious about butterfly knives, then you can look at investing a more premium product.
