This pouch has very little rigidity, however, it is durable softshell - made entirely out of 50mm webbing for the carrier body - the back and front having a double layer, whereas the sides are 35mm webbing double ply as well. The top circumference around the pouch' mouth, is reinforced stitched.

The webbing through which the belt would loop, features a width of 37mm, w/ a spacious clearance of 65mm and then some, allowing it to flop over most any width or size of belt buckle. The ends on this strap is likewise stitched multiple times for increased strength / durability / tear-resistance.

The pouch itself is velcro retained - the wooly part being about 50x35mm, then the top male velcro being 20x50mm.

This is really lovely for those who might not be the biggest fan of open-top / level I hardshell holster retention, that might want to belt-carry a flashlight, but want a closed top, maybe prefers concealment of the flashlight as well, likewise wants it thoroughly protected.

Nowadays, w/ loadshedding striking unexpectedly sometimes, having a flashlight on your waistband, ready to deploy at a moment's notice w/out maybe even being to see the flashlight, is a necessity for those who might not have the luxury of an office inverter or, who might walk through town during loadshedding.

This is also perfectly suited for tactical applications, where manoeuvering in and out of a vehicle, likewise moving through the bushes, might provide snag-hazards for your equipment and nab your flashlight off your person w/out you being aware of it..
