Black anodized aluminium adapter used to allow a paintball marker to utilize a 12g CO2 capsule instead of a paintball tank - useful if you need a fast pressure recharge but your tanks might be empty or if you convert to using the 12g CO2 capsules on a longer term. The latter for example, would apply to the BEEMAN QB 79 for example.
. This unit serves as the pressurizing unit and has no integrated valve. That being said, you'll need to thread the frontal piece into the ASA and firmly at that. The rear of the frontal piece has a 22mm hex drive to tighten/loosen the adapter, especially useful for CO2 applications as the CO2 sometimes creates a cold fusion between two parts.
So, installation of this part is by affixing the adapter, inserted the CO2 capsule in the housing w/ the nozzle end facing the adapter, then threading the housing onto the adapter. The adapter is male threaded and the housing, female threaded. Use the knurling at the rear of the housing for torquing and to pierce the CO2 capsule.
To remove this part, just reverse the order above. Failure to follow these instructions may lead to you wasting a CO2 capsule or causing pressurized CO2 to flash over hands/arms, with the potential to injure.
The housing has 2x bleeder holes on opposite sides of the cylinder, which we strongly advise to be mindful of when loosening the housing.
