Brass valve as a swop-out upgrade to the pinhead valve that CO2 paintball tanks come out standard with. The top end in ASA threaded, so it will thread into a paintball marker, whilst the other end, 5/8" - 18" TPI threads into the CO2 tank. Technically, this can and will thread onto a HPA, but this valve does not have a regulator to check the pressure through-flow, so you can and will do alot of damage to your marker if you were to do so, as HPA compresses up to 3000 PSI / 206 BAR, whereas a typical CO2 tank compresses up to 1300 PSI, depending on the tank size.

It has a replaceable 3k burst disc threaded on the one side and the tap valve on the other side, which can be removed in order to tap the tap screw out, to perform inspection and replace the O-ring, if the tap leaks. Though, be warned - only attempt the aforementioned once your tank is empty.

The advantage to using a valve such as this is that, especially with big tanks, you can have your tank threaded into your marker at all times w/out having your gas line pressurized - just keep your marker on SAFE and make sure the marker is decocked.

When you neeed to use your marker, then instead of threading your tank in w/ its pinhead valve, you can instead just cock your marker, open the tap and in this way, your marker will be pressurized. Thereafter, you take your safety off and you can start opening fire, that is, if your tank is still sufficiently pressurized - no separate adapter necessary that will add length and leverage potential to the bottomside of your marker.

This is also for refurbishing your tank's pinhead valve w/ a proper one, for example, if your old one started to corrode (has green crusting) or maybe you dropped in on the lip, causing the O-ring to buldge out and get cut by the threading each time you reinsert your tank. For irreversible damage as aforeementioned, we strongly recommend swopping the head out and taking your old head apart for spares. The housing you can take to scrap metal if its unsalvageable.
