300 BAR PCP Filling station for DIN Scuba tank valve w/ 500mm pressure hose
Complete PCP Connector Setup for Diving Tank or Carbon Fiber PCP Tank to Rifle Connection
This product features a DIN connector fitting, ideal for use with your pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) setup, connecting your diving tank or carbon fiber-wrapped PCP tank directly to your rifle.
Maximum Pressure Rating and Safety
Our filling station is rated up to 300 BAR and has been extensively tested by us for this purpose. While the gauge may only display a green zone up to 200 BAR, it is capable of reaching 300 BAR. It is common for gauges in the market to lack clear markings beyond 200 BAR. We also recognize that other filling stations with less durable materials are often advertised as 300 BAR or 4500 PSI compatible. Ultimately, it is up to you as the end-user to decide if this filling station meets your requirements for 300 BAR use. We assume no liability for the use of this product outside of our control. Please conduct independent research, including academic and empirical sources available online, to make an informed decision.
Product Features
-
Main Body: The main body is chrome-plated with a red polymer tap, allowing for easy hand-tightening into the scuba tank without the need for additional tools. Once threaded onto the tank, apply an extra torque to the unit to ensure that the green O-ring forms an airtight seal against the tank outlet.
-
Components:
- Pressure Gauge (41.76 mm): Comes with a brass male thread and is supplied empty.
- Bleeder Valve: Features serrated edges for improved grip while opening and closing. To effectively bleed the line, we recommend unscrewing the valve quickly to allow any moisture to escape with the pressure. Ensure that the air source is shut before bleeding.
- Female Quick Connect (Q/C) Fitting: Designed to connect the hose. The hose is supplied with a joiner piece for secure connection to the 220V compressor hose for scuba tank refilling.
-
High-Pressure Hose:
- The connector hose is 500mm in length and steel wire armored, rated for 300 BAR. The fittings are cross-compatible with other 1/8” BSP threaded connector fittings, and they can be removed or tightened if needed.
- The metal coil wrapping around the hose provides enhanced protection against sharp edges that could lead to damage or weak points. The coiling narrows in pitch near the terminals to offer extra shielding in those areas.
-
Maintenance Recommendations:
- Regularly inspect O-rings for any signs of wear or burning, particularly during long operational periods (15-30 minutes) or at temperatures exceeding 50ºC.
- If a leak is detected, use a DOWTY washer or tighten the fitting with a firm torque (about one-eighth of a turn) using the appropriate tool. Teflon tape is typically not required, but the hose should have PTFE ring seal inserts for a proper fit.
Addressing Product Issues
- If the red tap becomes stuck, torque the entire unit in a clockwise direction to release it.
Packaging
- This filling station comes pre-packed in a flat-profiled carton box with a flip-up lid for easy storage and protection.
Package Includes
- 1x Filling Station with bleeder valve, DIN valve, and female Q/C fitting affixed.
