MAVERICK "COBRA" SYNTH RIFLE SLING, LOOP RETENTION

This is the MAVERICK cobra rifle sling - a synthetic variant on the old school type rifle slings - featuring two points of retention intended to loop through a 1" sling swivel each, on a rifle or a shotgun (if so desired).

This allows you to carry the rifle either AMERICAN, AFRICAN, EUROPEAN or CROSSBODY style, whichever would best suit your shooting discipline.

This sling as illustrated, features a double-layer of 1" webbing w/ a hard plastic triple bar retaining clip on both ends. Once looped through the sling swivels, you can re-loop it through the triple bar retainer to secure the webbing in place and prevent it from self-adjusting under weight load.

There is a generous shoulder strap segment, which is a quite durable, high Denier grade rip-stop canvas, which has a rubbery texture, will resist scufffing and cutting and likewise, provides good traction. The webbing attached to the ends, are reinforced-stitched / three rows stitched over the same cross-length.

It should go w/out saying that the webbing is a one-piece length, having no terminal ends exposed that can later fray out. The two loose ends are right behind the aforementioned reinforced stitching, under the outer webbing layer. The stretch of webbing thus that goes across the shoulder pad, is just one ply.

We really recommend this as a hunting or plinking rifle sling.
